Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world on the Tuesday immediately following Thanksgiving. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. One of the best ways to get involved is in your own community. We invite you to celebrate Giving Tuesday by sponsoring therapy services to support success in children at BACH. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. The children of BACH thank you for your support!
Brazoria County Association for Children's Habilitation (BACH)
BACH has existed since 1973, thanks to the incredible support and legendary work of Buster Curry to establish local therapy services to children with developmental delays and disabilities. Prior to 1973 there were very few resources in Brazoria County where a parent or caregiver could seek help for a child with a developmental delay or disability. There was a lack of services and support for families and children impacted, and very few resources elsewhere. BACH was founded in 1973 out of the obvious need for such services, and we have been around for over 45 years serving, advocating, and equipping children and families living with developmental delays and disabilities. As our community continues to grow, so has our commitment. We are continuously striving to adapt to the ever-changing needs of families in our community, with the mission of equipping children and their families with the tools necessary to live their best life.
BACH is committed to providing resources and tools to parents and caregivers to become effective, life-long advocates for their children. As well as offers free recreational and educational activities for the children we serve, their siblings and their families.
